Matchstick poetry

The Sea at Bognor-

An inkwell
With screaming V's
And salty poster paint rocks with their grey faces
And the swimmers drowning in the watermarks
Like flies doing a death dance atop a pond.
Beer froth or spittle.
Drifting.

Van Gogh's Shoes-

Bitter coffee leather
The tongue
gagged with strings
And bent back
Like a finger.
